84. What if "Waiting" Isn't What You Thought It Was (part 3), with Karis Anderson

Wait up! Wait a minute! Just wait until your dad gets home! You are just going to have to wait! These phrases are familiar to all of us, I think. But what if there was more to the aspect of waiting? Can we learn things about God through waiting? Can we grow closer to God and others?  We are starting a new podcast series today. Karis Anderson is with me today as we talk about waiting. I think we will all find that the "waiting well" is very deep as we learn to wait well. 

Today we are going to talk about the types of waiting in Scripture. We can look at examples that have gone before us and see those who waited well and those who didn't wait well and be encouraged to wait well in our own circumstances. We also share our stories about not waiting well and discuss how our world affects our ability to wait well. Stay with us for all of these podcasts because I think they may change your view of those times that you find yourself waiting... forever! 

Karis is a homeschooling mom of 4 kids, a pastor's wife to Erik, and a community group leader. She has a gift of empathetic, biblical counseling. Her words are strong, yet very compassionate.
